The sheets family {Panama City Beach Family Photographer}

It was a bright sunny evening on Panama City Beach when I met with the Sheets family. We had fun looking for seashells & dinosaur eggs. What? you didn't know there are dinosaur eggs on Panama City Beach? Of course there are, all you need is a little imagination ;-)

This little fella gave me a run for my money! He was faster than lightning but I have found with little ones (including my own ;-) that patience pays off! He was such a cutie pie, I love those curls!

Thanks to beautiful ms. 'M'. I still have my pocket full of seashells you shared with me!

Thank to the Sheets. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek. The rest of your gallery will be ready soon!

Tai & Sara {Panama City Engagement Wedding Photographer}

It was supposed to rain earlier this week so Tai, Sara & I planned this shoot a little earlier in the day than usual. Of course, we had nothing but sunshine the entire time! Not complaining, but boy was it hot!!!
We met in Downtown Panama City & walked the streets hitting a few of my favorite spots and finding a few new ones as well!

Here is a sneak peek for Tai & Sara. I'll have the rest ready for you soon!

And a little storyboard for fun :-)

Thanks to Tai & Sara for hanging out with me. I had a blast!

Shooting in the Rain {Rosemary Beach photographer}

I had the pleasure of meeting some of this family last year when Jeff & Sheila were getting married on Rosemary Beach. Unfortunately due to an emergency in their family the wedding had to be cut short. So we planned to get together to get the family photos they weren't able to get last year.
The forecast was for rain, and rain it did! All the way until we stepped onto the sand! Then we were surrounded by beautiful clouds. Sounds odd but they were awesome looking storm clouds! Thankfully the family bought some cute colorful umbrellas just in case. So we managed to get some fun shots with those as well!

Here is a sneak peek for the Ellard & Ellis families.

I think they were my best 'jumpers' to date! Check out the guy on the right end. I can't believe how high he got! lol

The whole family...

I am so glad we were finally able to get everyone back to Florida and capture these for you all!

This beautiful family & I met earlier this week in Destin during their vacation from Illinois. We managed to dodge all the rain clouds and have a great time!

We started off at the Destin Commons in Destin, FL

Then went down the road a bit to the beach for a sunset session!

Jeff & Melissa {Santa Rosa Beach Wedding Photographer}

The weather channel called for a good chance of rain on Saturday, which would not have been good for Jeff & Melissa's beach wedding in Santa Rosa Beach. We thought we were in the clear until the clouds rolled in and the bottom fell out while Melissa was getting her makeup done...

I assured Melissa this was a good thing! With Florida weather, chances are if its raining now, 45 mins from now it won't be! Sure enough, that was the case. By the time Melissa was in her dress the rain had stopped. Just in time for a beautiful ceremony.

Weddings don't typically make me tear up. This was the exception! Jeff read a beautiful note to Melissa's daughter Caroline and gave her a locket. It was one of the sweetest wedding moments I have seen!

The dark clouds loomed in the distance but stayed away long enough for the ceremony to take place and for us to capture some wonderful images of Jeff, Melissa and Melissa's darling little girl.

after all the family photos are taken and the sun is almost setting (unless of course its overtaken by clouds ;-) I like to send the rest of the wedding party in to the reception and spend a few moments with the bride & groom. Getting those stolen kisses and giving them a few minutes to reflect on the day before they go into the reception.

Then its on to the party!!!

Thanks to Jeff, Melissa & Caroline for letting me be a part of your special day on Santa Rosa Beach! It was a beautiful wedding!

I love when I get to see vacationing clients year after year! Getting to see how the kids grow and how lives change, its wonderful!
I met with the Piper family last year on Seagrove Beach for a family beach session, this year it was Panama City Beach.
Sweet little Logan who was just walking good last year, is now a rough & tumble 2 year old little boy. What a cutie he (still) is :-) Love that hair!!!

Thanks for coming back to see me this year! Can't wait to see you in 2010!
Here is a sneak peek for you Alicia, I will have the rest ready for you soon.

The Santamaria family {Panama City Beach photographer}

What a beautiful day it turned out to be when I met with this great-looking Georgia family!
Little Miss 'M'. was more than happy to cooperate with us! The camera loved her and I think the feeling was mutual. I have to get my baby girl fix every once in a while since I have all these boys at home. What a little doll she is!

Here are a few from the session...

Thanks to the Santamaria family for spending a beautiful evening with me on Panama City Beach, FL.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

I just wanted to wish a Happy Mothers Day to all of the Mothers, Grandmothers, Mothers-to-be and anyone else who has had a motherly impact on someone's life.

There Is No Love, Like A Mother's Love

There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.

When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.
