Durham 50th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal {Panama City Beach wedding photographer}

I love shooting vow renewals, I have had several lately and it is always inspiring to hear after 40 or 50 years what helps to keep a marriage alive.
Fifty years ago, Jim & Mary Lou decided to sneak away from a 4th of July picnic, cross from Texas into Oklahoma & get married! After 50 years, Jim decided to surprise Mary Lou with the wedding she never had.
The beautiful ceremony took place on Panama City Beach & they were surrounded by family & friends.











Their cake was decorated with gorgeous edible seashells!

Rebecca Knowles Photography will be closed from June 15-June 22. I'm greatly looking forward to traveling to Fort Worth, Texas for the wedding of Anna & William! You might remember their rainy day engagement session back in November? Hard to believe the day is almost here!

Todd & Megan Perry {Panama City, Florida wedding photographer}

What looked like it was going to be a rainy, thundering April Fools Day, turned out to be the most beautiful day of the entire week! Sure, there were clouds, drizzles & wind but no thunderstorms or tornado warnings! Someone must've said their prayers ;-)

Todd & Megan were married in Megan's families backyard, which just so happened to be surrounded by a large tree-lined body of water. A few guests even arrived by boat!

The Wedding of Leann & Adam

I spent Saturday photographing the destination wedding of a beautiful couple from Louisiana.
Leann & Adam were married at the Ramada Plaza Resort on Okaloosa Island just West of Destin, Florida.
Prayers from the famly were answered for a beautiful cloudless day and for the beach erosion to be gone by the wedding day. It was perfect!


Leann made a stunning bride!





Details are such an important part of every wedding. There will come a day when you forget how special every little detail was. I like to capture everything down to the tiny details so that when you do forget, the photographs can bring it all back to your mind.

The ceremony took place down on the beach behind the Ramada Plaza Resort...









After the ceremony, the bridal party stayed out on the beach for some fun photos...





And then we sent them along so Adam & Leann could enjoy a few moments by themselves...









The evening was completed with a reception at the Empire room of the Ramada Plaza.
Dinner, dancing & fun!




This little guy knew how to break it down! LOL
